Veronica Munro, Head of Leadership Effectiveness – West at Standard Chartered, presented a case study with focus on Leadership Effectiveness as part of the presentations and panels of the second day of the HR Summit and Expo 2012 in Dubai, UAE.
Some of the key points of her presentation were:
- 2012 is the ninth consecutive year of double digit growth for Standard Chartered;
- Engagement matters now more than ever; it is not a “nice to have” but a priority; this is placed at the core of their human capital roadmap;
- The drivers of engagement that Standard Chartered is leveraging are group into four categories that drive their people management philosophy: 1) “know me”, 2) “focus me”, 3)”care about me” and 4) “inspire me”.
